We are looking for a commercially minded, data-driven and collaborative individual to join the CE Marketing Team as Category & Insights Assistant.
In this role, you’ll support the development of category growth strategies and shopper activation plans based on market data, consumer insights and internal performance tracking. Your work will help drive fact-based decisions across sales, marketing and trade initiatives.
You’ll work closely with the Insights & Category Manager CE and Sales teams to turn data into action — delivering clear, concise recommendations that support brand, customer and channel growth.
Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black and recently acquired Cremo Grooming… just to name a few!).
Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:
Insights & Analysis
Analyze, interpret retail (e.g. Nielsen, GfK), consumer and internal sales data
Identify trends, risks and growth opportunities across categories and customers
Track competition and pricing dynamics to inform brand and trade plans
Support development of shopper insights and trade stories for key retailers
Collaborate with international and local colleagues with regards to new shopper & consumer trends
Category & Commercial Support
Build and update performance dashboards, scorecards and market overviews
Support preparation of Joint Business Plans and commercial presentations
Translate insights into concrete actions for brand, shopper and trade activation
Collaborate with Brand, Sales and Trade Marketing teams on category development plans
Tools & Processes
Manage regular reporting processes and deliverables
Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, templates and insight quality
Support adoption of fact-based decision-making and data literacy in the team
Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got?
While your experience is of course important, we’re all about making useful things joyful, so we love when our prospective candidates are passionate about this too.
Here’s what we are looking for:
Min. 2 years of experience in insights, category management, commercial analytics or retail data (FMCG, retail or research agency)
Hands-on experience with Nielsen, GfK or similar platforms
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI is a plus
Strong communicator – able to simplify complexity and present clearly to non-data audiences
Curious, proactive, and highly organized
Fluent in English and Polish
