About the Role
- The BP&A Coordinator will support the Corporate Functions BP&A team within GBS by coordinating planning, forecasting, and performance management activities. This role will support Finance Business Partners and BP&A GBS leadership, ensuring alignment and consistency across financial processes. Supports the Assoc Director BP&A Corp Functions GBS with BP&A activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end BP&A management process for assigned Corporate Functions within GBS.
- Support all planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
- Maintain and enhance financial planning models, develop forecasts and trend analyses, and support performance commentary.
- Analyze actual performance vs. plan and provide insights to support management decision-making.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and manage intercompany charge-outs across regions.
- Deliver ad hoc financial analysis for BP&A leadership and business partners.
- Utilize standardized tools to generate reports and develop custom dashboards or insights as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes.
- Provide coordination and day-to-day oversight of analysts’ deliverables, ensuring quality and consistency (note: no direct people management).
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of relevant finance experience, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating teams or projects, with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in a global, matrixed organization, ideally with exposure to intercompany transactions and corporate functions.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify root causes of variances.
- Proficiency in SAP, BPC, Workday, and Power BI; advanced Excel skills required.
- Collaborative and proactive working style, with the ability to build effective relationships across functions.
