About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Travel and Expense Lead to oversee and optimize our Travel and Expense Program. This role will be responsible for implementing and continuously improving T&E processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical and userbase knowledge of Concur functions.
Process Design and Management
- Documentation and implementation of efficient Concur functionalities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Create process flow diagrams and documentation to support training and audit requirements
- Identify opportunities for standardization across business units or regions
- Conduct regular process reviews to ensure alignment with business needs and industry best practices
Performance Optimization
- Review the Concur adoption and plan improvements where necessary
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Technology and System Management
- Oversee Concur, ensuring optimal configuration
- Collaborate with IT on system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations
- Develop business requirements for system improvements
- Ensure data integrity within the existing systems
Team Leadership and Development
- Provide guidance and mentorship to T&E team members on process excellence
- Develop and deliver training programs on T&E processes and systems
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
About You
We're looking for someone that has:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in T&E operations
- Demonstrated success in implementing process optimization initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of Travel programs processes and best practices
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards
- Process improvement certification (Lean, Six Sigma) preferred
- Project management experience or certification a plus
- Experience with shared service center operations beneficial
- Knowledge of international TE operations and regulations desirable
