The Position
The purpose of the position is to create, revise and initiate/manage change for items which fall under the ownership of Technical Publication, mainly focusing on Service (Maintenance and Repair manual, Parts List and Technical manual). The creation of Instructions for Use, Quick Reference Guides and Product Labels will also be included. You will participate in New Product Development (NPD) projects, by developing and deliver labelling connected to the product. You will also support labelling activities in engineering teams globally and be responsible for maintenance and life cycle management of labelling, for assigned product groups.
Your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
- Lead major labelling activities / labelling project that requires cross-collaboration globally.
- Mainly create service labelling, making sure that they meet the Arjo requirements and standards.
- Work according to agreed time plans and budgets. As well as meeting set project gate review goals.
- Perform continues lifecycle management on labelling for current products.
- Work with Technical Publication Management, define/maintain/follow adequate department procedures that promote labelling accuracy, compliance and lean business practices in accordance with global regulatory and company standards.
- Follow and support the development of the Technical Publication and its regulatory requirements, processes, tools and guidelines. This also imply associated guidelines such as Corporate Branding, IFU / QRG / Service guidelines and Design & Usability Guidelines.
- Create exploded views, read engineering drawings, proactively gather information from different stakeholders on a global level and transform information into text instructions.
- Create and modify graphics/illustrations for use in product labelling.
- Collaborate editorial support and guidance to technical publication and project team members.
- Work both independently and in teams with a drive and open mind.
- Understand technical data and how thing interconnect together.
- Work actively and searching information in ERP and documents PDM systems.
We are looking for you to have the following background and experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
- 2-4 years of experience, of Technical Writing also working with design or project Processes. Ideally familiar with Medical Devices Industry and relevant labelling regulations.
- Software application experience including: Adobe CC with focus on InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Photoshop and MS Office. Adobe Frame Maker positive but not mandatory
- CAD and PDM system experience is positive but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with similar products as in the portfolio is qualifying but not mandatory.
- Photography experience, positive but not mandatory
- Excellent Polish and English skills, both orally and written.
