Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Application Engineer with strong experience in IBM MQ Series and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to support and evolve our FX pricing interface applications. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of critical infrastructure supporting FX operations, contribute to system integration projects, and work closely with both business users and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance two FX pricing interface applications: 66PR and 6477
• Ensure stability across production, test, and development environments
• Provide support for end users and resolve incidents related to FX applications
• Perform infrastructure upgrades and improvements
• Analyze opportunities for system integration with Swedish FX platforms
• Collaborate with infrastructure, support, and dev teams to ensure continuity

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with IBM MQ Series (messaging, troubleshooting, configuration)
• Hands-on expertise in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
• Good knowledge of Windows Server 2019 / 2022
• Experience with MS SQL Server and ODBC connectivity
• Exposure to Bitbucket or a similar version control system

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of C/C++ (reading/debugging legacy code)
• Understanding of HP NonStop or z/OS mainframe platforms
• Experience working with FX or other financial systems
• Familiarity with GfKernel and dScreen
