Key Challenges & Responsibilities
- Design and implement E2E Network/System Architecture in Open RAN model
- Provide detailed recommendations and designs for 5G NR and/or O-RAN features
- Short-term and mid-term roadmap preparation
- Technical support for cross-functional teams implementating the features
- Design, coding, and unit testing of O-DU and O-CU fuctionalities
- Design, coding, and unit testing of Near-RT-RIC and xApps
- Design, coding, and unit testing of open interfaces
Skills & Experience (Must-Have)
- Deep experience and understanding of 3GPP and O-RAN standards
- In-depth experience with disaggregated and cloud native RAN implementation architecture
- Strong C/C++ programming background and debugging skills
- Proficient in design, documentation, implementation and unit tests
- Very strong knowledge about multi-thread real-time/embedded systems
- Familiarity with version control, bug tracking, and CI/CD systems
Additional advantages:
- Working experience with protocol stack splits (split 7.2x O-RU / O-DU, split 2 O-DU / O-CU)
- Strong, hands-on experience with the 5G NR
- Base experience with cloud native technologies (Kubernetes, docers)
