Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Experience in Data Analytics.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team responsible for developing Borg's UI which serves Google's planet scale orchestrator.
- Drive all aspects of development including requirements definition, design, implementation, integration, test, release, monitoring, and sustaining.
- Discover opportunities for improvements in programs and workflows for better productivity and quality, and help the teams to create and deploy the improvement plans.
- Define a team structure, develop skills, offer mentorship, and recruit new members, to cultivate a growth mindset culture and grow the team.
- Act on behalf of the team to influence executive decisions, collaborate with internal partners, define and implement the best known practices. Contribute innovative ideas and skills to the team.
