Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience with Chromium or web browser development.
- Experience working on large-scale distributed systems.

- Write and test product or system development code.
- Lead the design and development of web compatibility tools, techniques, and mitigation to help websites adapt to evolving web privacy standards, including the adoption of new anti-covert tracking technologies.
- Lead the design and development of the Android compatibility infrastructure to help mitigate and fix user breakages.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to executive engineers, fostering their growth and development.
- Drive the development of new web standards and best practices in collaboration with the wider web community.
