We are seeking a skilled Senior Python Engineer with experience in Angular to join a Project for our Client, a global multinational oilfield services company.
It is a fully remote position offering you the flexibility to work from any location in Poland, whether it's your home or one of our well-equipped offices in Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Lodz, Warsaw, or Wroclaw.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications focusing primarily on backend development using Python alongside core and frontend components using Angular
- Create, utilize, and manage RESTful APIs to ensure seamless data exchanges between systems
- Work with both relational and non-relational databases, such as PostgreSQL and Redis, to enable scalable and efficient data handling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical solutions meeting project goals
- Conduct testing, debugging, and refactoring to uphold high code quality
- Remain current with emerging technologies and software development best practices
- Contribute to projects involving Databricks and refine pipeline workflows within Continuous Delivery Frameworks if required
- Apply domain expertise from the Oil & Gas sector to create industry-specific solutions when applicable
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Background in frontend development using Angular
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL database and Redis cache
- Understanding of Python OOP principles and RESTful APIs
