We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in NLP, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our team in developing cutting-edge, private GenAI solutions for risk management.
This hybrid position is based in Krakow, offering an exciting opportunity to work on transformative AI technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom ML, GenAI, and NLP models for batch and stream processing-based AI/ML pipelines
- Collaborate with data science, MLOps, and technology teams to design, develop, and implement ML solutions
- Ensure robust evaluation of model performance, accuracy, and reliability by implementing state-of-the-art evaluation tools and techniques
- Coordinate with the MLOps team to deploy production-ready machine learning models, emphasizing scalability and stability
- Develop ML models in alignment with industry standards, governance, and best practices defined by senior data science and MLOps leadership
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working with structured and unstructured data to develop ML-based insights in areas such as NLP and vision
- 3+ years of experience creating scalable information retrieval solutions, ranging from keyword search to semantic embedding-based search systems
- 2+ years of hands-on expertise with Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face
- Knowledge of LLM development, optimization, and fine-tuning for generative and extractive tasks
- Proficiency in NLP, with expertise in state-of-the-art LLMs and open-source platforms, following high-level trends in the field
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
