The Role
As a Senior E2E Planner within Imperial Brands’ Global Supply Chain hub, you would be at the center of end to end planning process. You’ll be a competent and reliable partner for our factories and/or markets (clusters). A specific key focus will be to ensure high product availability in Imperial Brands markets, accurate inventory levels and optimal assets utilization to ensure low impact on total supply chain cost. You would report to E2E Planning Team Manager, responsible for one of key areas - DRP&Inventory, Operations Planning or Materials Planning. This role is highly operational and will require high level of analytical and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to drive collaboration across many supply chain and planning functions.
Principle Accountabilities
- Identify market needs and ensure adequate product assembly to meet demand.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and commercial teams to understand market trends, forecast demand, and develop replenishment strategies alongside ensuring risk identification, flagging and mitigation
- Maintain a balance between supply and demand to ensure optimal inventory levels and product availability and ensuring cost optimisation
- Implement measures to prevent stock shortages and minimize out-of-stock situations
- Manage phase-in and phase-out processes (PIPO) to transition products seamlessly and minimize inventory obsolescence.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of replenishment plans and timely delivery of products.
Skills & Experience Required
- Extensive Supply/Operations Chain experience preferably within FMCG sectors of an international company, with a focus on Distribution Planning in an international setting, and alignment with the skills and competency model.
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills, and a strong sense of ownership to navigate the complexities of Imperial Brands' dynamic Supply Chain.
- Excellent analytical abilities for conducting complex analyses and scenario building, a deep understanding of Imperial Brands' business, and customer service orientation.
- Strong communication skills are crucial for representing the Global E2E Planning team in discussions with Regional, Global, and External Partners, while a proactive approach to process improvements and system optimizations is encouraged.
- Experience and thorough understanding of planning system solutions (e.g., SAP APO, Microsoft Axapta, Vanguard, SAS) is required, along with proficiency in MS Office. Additionally, experience in system implementations and familiarity with data warehouse, SQL, Excel, Access, and Power tables is advantageous, coupled with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
