Our company participates in various projects across Middle East region in such countries as UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
We work with both government and business sector. So services that are implemented and provided should be perfect and reliable as much as possible.
These projects are the most interesting, entertaining but not standard that we have had to deal with lately.
And we are looking for experience DevOps for that sector to participate in one of the projects.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps area
- Experience with Jenkins CI server installation and pipeline implementation
- Strong knowledge of Openshift.
- Strong knowledge of deployment strategies and how they are applied to K8s/Openshift environments
- Installation and administration of on-premise VPN servers
- Good Git skills and understanding of Infrastructure as a Code principles
- Experience in implementing of DevOps best practices
- Good skills in the administration of CentOS/RedHat or Ubuntu/Debian servers
- Monitoring of different environments with Prometheus and Grafana
- Administration of web servers Nginx/Apache
- Experience with on-premise Oracle virtualization stack is aplus
- Experience with clouds technologies (AWS/G-Cloud/Oracle/Azure) is a plus
- Oracle DB administration is a must
- Strong consultation and communication skills
- English level: Upper-Intermediate and higher
- Long business trips in Muscat Oman. On-site work for several month in a row
Responsibilities
- Maintain/Monitor/Configure deployments of applications in OpenShift
- Migrate current stateful applications into OpenShift
- Remote administration of network and server bare-metal hardware
- Assistance to developer teams
Nice to have
- Experience with network hardware (Cisco/Juniper)
- Experience with administration and configuration of Pentaho servers
- Experience with Windows administration (Powershell scripting)
