Job Description
- Develop well-structured, efficient, and testable IT solutions tailored to diverse and complex customer needs.
- Design system architectures and lead the development process.
- Collaborate closely with clients to gain deep insight into their requirements.
- Mentor team members, share expertise, and conduct knowledge-sharing or training sessions.
- Utilize Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, to support iterative and adaptive development.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical and procedural documentation.
- Work in close alignment with the Product Owner and cross-functional teams across the organization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Cobol Developer.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, SQL, IDz/RDz, and Erwin.
- Advocates for unit testing and automated testing practices
- English min. B2.
- Educational background in computer science or a related discipline
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of tools and technologies such as Git/Bitbucket, JIRA, APIs, Java, and Kafka.
- Background in the financial industry, with relevant domain experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage IT projects effectively, with proven project leadership skills.
