We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Tester with expertise in Java to join our innovative QA team.
In this role, you will lead efforts in ensuring the quality of web and mobile applications by designing, building, and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks. You will work with advanced tools and technologies in collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver flawless software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to ensure clarity in requirements and deliver high-quality software
- Translate business requirements into comprehensive and testable technical requirements
- Develop test automation frameworks, scripts, and libraries, ensuring scalability and maintainability
- Perform comprehensive automated functional and performance testing for various software applications
- Conduct end-to-end testing, focusing on areas like functionality, performance, security, and user interface
- Maintain and optimize CI pipelines, integrating automated scripts into tools like Jenkins
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during testing, ensuring accountability across the team
- Provide technical mentorship to junior team members for effective implementation of testing solutions
- Ensure alignment with agile processes, contributing to efficient and iterative development cycles
- Collaborate on identifying areas for continuous improvement to enhance product testing strategies and frameworks
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation for functional GUI and API testing
- Hands-on experience in automation testing tools using Java, such as Selenium, REST Assured, or similar for mobile automation
- Background in database testing with a solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and proven experience in applying agile testing practices
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and version control systems like Git
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills for efficient team collaboration
- Commitment to driving product quality with a focus on continuous improvement and excellence
- Fluent in English, with advanced written and verbal communication skills
