Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Tester to join our client team on a contract basis (FTC) with over a decade of hands-on experience in manual and automated testing across complex enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in test design, execution, and automation within Agile delivery environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Design and implement automated test cases using Selenium, Cucumber, and Rest Assured.
- Perform API testing using Postman and validate REST/SOAP-based integrations.
- Lead performance and non-functional testing using tools such as JMeter.
- Translate functional requirements into well-structured test scenarios and plans.
- Collaborate with developers and QA peers to embed testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze and report defects using JIRA, with traceability and impact analysis.
- Prepare clear and reusable test documentation, including data scripts and results.
- Ensure test coverage and alignment with evolving business and technical requirements.
- Work with structured data formats such as JSON, XML, and write basic SQL queries.
- Follow best practices for test process improvement and Agile delivery.
- Use tools such as qTest, Confluence, Git, and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
