Job Description
Senior AP Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Coding, processing and analyzing vendor invoices
- Processing invoices in a timely manner
- Maintain payable ageing
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Provide outstanding customer service for ADM’s internal and external customers by efficiently executing processes
- Respond to ADM business inquiries - everyday contact with other ADM locations in European countries
- Generation of reports and analysis of GL accounts
- Support the process of closing
- Other ad-hoc duties at the request of the AP Leader
- Cover for other Accounts Payable staff while on leave to ensure service levels and processing timescales are met
- Monitor defects and identify and address problem areas within AP processes
- Recommend, develop, and implement process and system improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls
Profile:
- 5 years + professional experience in SSC or in the field of accounting
- Processing accounting knowledge
- Master's degree in finance
- Having French language skills (B1-B2) as an advantage
- Having fluent English language skills in speaking and writing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, etc.)
- A collaborator with strong customer service skills
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to function in a deadline-oriented environment while paying attention to details
- Flexible, willing to do what it takes to get the task completed
