Your role

Our European General Vacuum Customer Center is currently searching for a Sales Engineer in Poland to lead the sales within the region.

As a Sales Engineer, your mission is to position Edwards as the preferred supplier of vacuum products and services across direct and indirect accounts in Poland. Your focus will span the Industrial, Scientific, and Research & Development (R&D) sectors, with potential expansion into Scientific OEMs. You will drive growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans aligned with the Customer Centre’s objectives, while maintaining accurate records and consistently exceeding performance targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and implement business plans for both direct and indirect accounts to drive revenue and profit growth.
  • Customer Engagement: Maximise customer-facing time, aiming for over 65% of your time spent in direct interaction within your territory.
  • Sales Execution: Deliver on sales targets through tailored initiatives that align with the Edwards EMEA NE Customer Centre strategy.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide monthly territory reports, including performance updates, forecasts, and strategic insights to keep divisions informed.
  • CRM & Systems Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Edwards systems (CRM, BPC, C4C), ensuring data integrity and visibility.
  • Customer Visit Follow-up: Document visit reports and ensure timely execution of follow-up actions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Operations, Marketing, Product Teams, and Credit Control to deliver exceptional customer support and manage payment performance.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with sales management and colleagues to ensure transparent, collaborative business management.
  • Customer Advocacy: Lead cross-functional engagement to position Edwards as the supplier of choice.
  • Product Launch Support: Collaborate with Product Divisions to plan and execute new product introductions.
  • Forecasting & Market Intelligence: Provide accurate monthly sales and order forecasts, and report on competitive activity.

  • Knowledge of vacuum technologies and applications is a plus.

  • Strategic thinker with a talent for identifying and securing business opportunities.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, relationship building, and effective communication.
  • Confident in promoting Edwards’ solutions and value proposition.
  • Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Fluent in Polish and English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory and occasionally beyond.
