ABOUT THE ROLE
Job Purpose
We are looking for an RTR (General Ledger) Accountant reporting directly to the RTR Team Leader. This is a local role based in Poznań SSC. As a finance professional, you will be responsible for accurate, efficient, and timely processing of general ledger activities. You will also participate in projects and take initiative to improve processes, communication, and the overall work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day General Ledger operations: journal entries, accrual calculation, balance sheet reconciliations and monitoring, fixed assets accounting, intracompany reconciliations
- Carrying out month-end, year-end closing tasks
- Various reports’ preparation and analysis, reporting of the financial results for consolidation purposes
- Assisting with departmental projects and standardization initiatives
- Identify and implement potential process improvements
- Takes initiative to improve processes, communication or overall work environment
- Ensures daily operations are carried out according to Group finance policies and J-SOX requirements
- Demonstrates ability to effectively manage priorities
- Assisting with the annual audit process,
- Oversees KPI analysis, root cause identification and improvement suggestions
- First line contact and support to any RTR related queries
Qualifications & Experience Required
Education, Master, other certification:
- Bachelor’s degree or supplementary studies in Finance and Accounting (at least initiated) or completed external accounting training with certification
Experience:
- Minimum 1.5 years of accounting experience
- Experience in General Ledger is a plus
Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of SAP FI or other ERP/financial/accounting systems
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Ability to review, understand, and interpret financial data
Languages Skills:
- Fluent English (C1 level)
Soft/Behavioral Skills:
- High level of customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive and improvement-oriented mindset
