Job Description
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with product releases and is enthusiastic about improving testing processes and advocating best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Review and analyze product documentation, user stories, and feature requirements to ensure alignment with technical specifications and design guidelines.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for new features and improvements.
- Lead manual testing efforts for functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution and thorough verification.
- Interpret and analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to development teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Development, Product, and other cross-functional teams to understand feature implementations and the product’s overall architecture, ensuring alignment with testing efforts.
- Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, providing feedback on user stories, potential risks, and test progress to ensure on-time releases.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, methodologies, and tools to increase testing efficiency and improve overall product quality.
- Apply AI tools and techniques to support exploratory testing and defect analysis as part of day-to-day QA activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in QA testing, with a strong background in manual testing.
- Expertise in various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Proficiency with web technologies such as HTML, XML, CSS, and SQL.
- Strong experience with testing tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, and other bug tracking tools.
- Proficient in using AI tools for writing test documentation, reports, and test optimization.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and continuous integration practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and working in a cloud-based environment is a plus.
