Andersen is hiring a QA Engineer to join a large-scale project for a global travel payment provider, ensuring the quality and reliability of innovative financial solutions used worldwide.
The customer is a global corporate travel payment solution owned and operated by the world’s leading airlines. Its network includes major carriers that issue charge cards accepted by thousands of travel-related merchants worldwide, covering air, rail, cruise, and agency payments. The platform also enables airlines to accept multiple payment methods, including alternatives, via integrated processing partners within the customer’s network.
The project is centered on a proprietary payment platform that ensures secure transactions, centralized billing, detailed reporting, and advanced analytics. It focuses on reducing processing costs, streamlining expense management, and continuously evolving through new payment methods and AI-driven enhancements.
Readiness to work until 22:00 CET.
Responsibilities
- Designing, maintaining, and executing functional, exploratory, and regression test cases for UI, APIs, databases, and workflows.
- Conducting smoke and sanity tests before major releases.
- Collaborating with developers, PMs, and stakeholders to refine requirements and improve quality.
- Logging and tracking defects with detailed reports, verifying fixes, and sharing updates during stand-ups.
- Improving test coverage (from 20%) and contributing to process enhancements via retrospectives.
- Maintaining clear test documentation and participating in knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Staying informed on QA trends, particularly in payment systems.
Requirements
- Experience in manual testing of web applications for 3+ years.
- Proficiency in SQL for database validation and troubleshooting.
- Strong expertise in API testing, especially with system integration.
- Experience with functional, regression, and integration test case creation and execution.
- Skilled with TestRail, Jira, QMetry (JIRA integration), Postman, and Swagger.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Desired skills
- Experience using JMeter for performance testing.
- Understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, Agile, and payment workflows.
