Public Affairs Expert
- Development and execution of the public policy and advocacy strategy and concrete agenda for our company, making sure the alignment between business objectives and public policy goals, improve engagement, reduce corporate risk, and manage resources efficiently and within budget.
- Monitor and anticipate legislation and regulatory matters relevant to T-Mobile in EU and in Poland, and advise the company with respect to policy challenges and opportunities
- Establish strategic relationships with government and community leaders, policy makers, and regulatory agencies, regularly meeting with them to build trust and mutual interest, mitigate potential obstacles and convey the company's priorities and strategies
- Engage with government representatives and policymakers in Poland and in EU Institutions to educate about how digital and communication technologies and solutions can work for the country, for the cities and for people
- Partner with organizations, educational institutions and business chambers in order to advance public policy goals as well as strengthen thought leadership of T-Mobile Polska
- Provide concise, accurate briefings to leadership on complex issues, as well as strategic guidance to internal teams
- Develop new and maintain existing relationships as well as high quality engagement with key T-Mobile direct and indirect stakeholders, partners, chamber of commerce, business associations
- Represent T-Mobile mission, values and principles and be an expert in the local team
what do you bring?
- Advanced degree in economics, political science and/or communications
- 10+ years of relevant public policy, governmental affairs, advocacy experience within corporate public policy and government relations, in public administration, trade association or NGOs
- A track record of highest integrity and public policy success in working with politicians and government officials
- Understanding of policymaking processes and government relations, particularly if they relate to digital/internet technologies and macro business factors impacting development of telecommunication market
- Strong network with policymakers and opinion leaders
- International network will be an andvantage
- Familiarity with EU institutions
- Familiarity with regulatory processes in Poland and in European Union
- A self-starter who can take general direction and produce specific results in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment with strong tactical and strategic abilities
- Able to coordinate a wide array of internal and external resources to obtain, process, and operationalize information and strategy
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- Capable of confidently using experience and data to assess and recommend a best course of action even in an ambiguous situation
- Available for travel
