We are currently looking for a Product Owner to take ownership of developing payment processing services in the eCommerce segment. If you have experience implementing payment methods and understand the needs of merchants – we encourage you to apply!
We’re open to candidates based anywhere in Europe, but occasional travel to Poland (e.g. for workshops or team meetings) may be required.
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum 2 years of experience in eCommerce-related projects.
- Proven track record in launching online payment products
- Understanding of payment method specifics and their use across various markets.
- Based in Europe, with the ability to occasionally travel to Poland for workshops or team meetings
- Practical knowledge of online payment processing, especially in the following areas:
- Integration of new payment methods (including at least one full end-to-end integration and launch),
- Familiarity with payment methods and their usage in different countries,
- Understanding of transaction reporting and payment status flows for merchants,
- Deep understanding of merchants' needs in the context of payment processing in eCommerce.
- Ability to understand the business needs of merchants in the online payments domain.
- Technical understanding of APIs and the ability to analyse the dependencies between systems involved in the payment process. Direct cooperation with developers on different endpoint usage.
- English proficiency at a minimum B2 level, allowing smooth communication in an international environment.
Responsibilities:
- Creating clear and well-structured business requirements.
- Collaborating closely with development teams on product development.
- Preparing product documentation (specifications, descriptions, user flows).
- Developing and presenting business cases for new initiatives.
- Translating business needs into specific product features – including technical considerations.
- Ensuring the final product meets all defined requirements.
