We are currently looking for a Product Owner - Affluent & Private Banking Cards ready to join our adventure, share our ambition and help shape the future of digital banking.What you will be doing?
Product Strategy & Commercialization:
Define the strategic vision for the affluent and private banking card product vertical.
Drive the product's commercial success, holding co-responsibility for scaling, margin, and revenue, including ownership of the product P&L.
Develop and implement pricing strategies to grow product margin.
Conduct continuous market research and global benchmarking to develop a unique selling proposition (USP).
Run financial modeling to forecast the impact of product changes and promotions.
Collaborate with marketing and CRM teams to design effective communication and lead-nurturing campaigns.
Take ultimate ownership of the product origination funnel and its efficiency.
Team Leadership & Delivery:
Act as the line manager for the product delivery team with hire and fire empowerment.
Lead the team's agile ceremonies, including release and sprint planning, scope grooming, and velocity management.
Design product solutions and prepare detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Ensure all solution design documentation in Jira is complete, structured, and maintained to a high standard.
Decide on product readiness for UAT and production deployment, and oversee re-testing in the PROD environment.
Operations, Risk & Compliance:
Design and document product operational processes in cooperation with the OPS team.
Monitor the regulatory framework to identify required enhancements and ensure product compliance.
Draft and manage all product-related legal artifacts, including terms and conditions, contracts, and promotional rules.
Procure and own relationships with third-party suppliers, including facilitating security and GDPR assessments.
Prepare and submit requests for product approval to the relevant committees as required by regulatory standards.
Act as the second line of defense for customer complaints and production incidents.
Financial Planning & Reporting:
Propose the annual product budget and prepare quarterly forecasts.
Report to management on commercial performance versus budget and on the delivery team's progress.
Skills you should have
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Product Owner role.
Domain Expertise: Proven, in-depth experience in the affluent and/or private banking sector is essential. A strong background in general cards issuing is also required.
Partnership Experience: Demonstrable experience working with major card networks (Mastercard or Visa) is key.
Leadership: Experience leading a cross-functional Scrum team consisting of analysts, developers, and testers. While deep technical knowledge is not mandatory, the ability to guide a technical team is crucial.
Location: This is a hybrid role based in Warsaw, with an expectation for managers to be able to work from the office for part of the week.
