Procurement Process Excellence and Automation Coordinator
Location – Krakow
Why is this job for you:
In this role, you will be responsible for Source to Procure process (S2P) improvements identification and change management, automation implementation, best practices rollout, related trainings delivery, system testing and end user support for International Paper internal customers in the area of corporate sourcing, procurement, fiber supply, facility purchasing and storerooms.
Source to Procure Process Steward is expected to understand the End to End Source to Procure process, being SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) expert with an understanding of upstream and downstream processes (e.g. Finance, Plant Maintenance, and Account Payables) and be able to manage projects.
You will:
- Ensure continuous and efficient procurement processes across EMEA
- Analyze AS IS processes, identify inefficiencies and gaps, propose improvements and manage changes implementation
- Define business requirements with users and stakeholders for any new projects or enhancements
- Identify opportunities for automating procurement processes and reporting, develop and sustain solutions, train end users
- Leverage automation to analyze procurement data, generate performance metrics and support data-driven decision-making
- Drive and manage multiple projects simultaneously through the established change control process towards implementation
- Provide procurement and storeroom systems and processes improvement, standardization, and user’s support for paper mills and box plants in EMEA
- Conduct system testing prior enhancement implementation of go-live
- Develop training documentation and ensure effective communication on new processes, projects or enhancements
- Deliver training on SAP MM, business analysis tools and other procurement systems
- Conduct change management as required for procurement system end-users
- Support new facilities enrollment into SAP procurement model
- Represent EMEA as Subject Matter Expert in International Paper global projects and implementations
- Effectively manage users requests queue, responding to and resolving issues in a timely manner and recommending long term solutions for recurring issues
You have:
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement / Purchasing / Storeroom
- Project Management experience minimum as Project Team member
- Advanced SAP MM knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Fluency in written and spoken Spanish, Italian or French would be an asset
- Analytical skills (data analysis and visualization)
- Technical savvy and interest in improvements and process automation
- Experience in SAP PM, FICO and ARIBA will be an asset
- Advanced skills in Microsoft M365 Suite – Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint, Access, Power Automate, Power BI
- Knowledge of VBA will be an asset
- Knowledge of AI tools will be an asset
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- The role may involve business travel up to 20% of working time
