We are searching for a Senior Infrastructure and Cloud engineer
This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw, Poland and you will join our Markets Technology team, supporting Capital Markets infrastructure and cloud transformation.
At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Brian Bevensee.
Primary task and responsibilities include:
- Defining, developing and optimizing our Capital Markets platform to meet business needs and support our strategic goals.
- Driving cloud transformation, including migrating and optimizing existing systems in collaboration with architects and developers.
- Implementing robust and future-proof infrastructure solutions that ensure high performance and security.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to strengthen our internal infrastructure and the platform's efficiency.
- Ensuring continuous maintenance and operation of systems, including support and troubleshooting.
To succeed you will have:
- Approximately 7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Expert knowledge of Windows and Linux servers, as well as network and firewall technology at an enterprise level.
- Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms, including cloud transformation projects.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Grafana, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Skills in one or more programming languages.
- Interest in financial markets.
- Experience working in larger organizations with complex infrastructure.

- Experience with IT Capital Markets or other financial areas and the technology behind them
