As a Legal Advisor, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Rzeszów. Together, we work on ogether, we support the PeP Group’s strategic growth by ensuring legal and regulatory compliance across a dynamic portfolio of financial services. You’ll play a key role in shaping innovative solutions that meet both business goals and regulatory expectations.
About Your Future Role
In this position, you will:
- Ongoing legal advisory services in the area of financial services regulations, including PSD2 (with particular emphasis on acquiring and money transfers) and IFR, as well as regulations related to AML/CFT, personal data protection (GDPR), and consumer law.
- Monitoring changes in national and EU legislation, analyzing their impact on the operations of the PeP Group, and recommending necessary adaptation measures, especially in the context of planned and existing products and services.
- Cooperation with the Compliance Department regarding licensing proceedings before supervisory authorities, preparation of regulatory reports, and responses to inquiries from supervisory bodies.
- Conducting, managing, and executing the process of drafting, negotiating, and modifying contracts, both in Polish and English, with key business partners, technology providers, payment integrators, and merchants.
- Engagement in initiatives and projects at both local and regional levels.
- Legal advisory services for the management board and key operational departments in the areas of civil, commercial, and consumer law, as well as regulations concerning payment activities, with particular focus on proposed business and product solutions to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Preparing comprehensive legal opinions and interpretations related to strategic projects carried out by companies within the PeP Group, including the introduction of new products, settlement models, and payment services.
- Direct cooperation with the owner and management boards of companies, including during acquisition transactions, integration processes of new entities, and implementation of new business models and synergies within the Group companies.
- Participation in compliance audits, due diligence projects, and the development and improvement of group corporate governance standards, policies, and procedures, taking into account regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaboration in identifying and assessing legal and regulatory risks, providing practical and balanced legal solutions that support the Group’s business development in a compliant manner aligned with supervisory authorities’ expectations.
What Makes You a Great Fit

Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in providing legal support to payment institutions, fintech companies, or in compliance roles within the financial sector.
- Strong knowledge of regulations related to the payment services sector, including PSD2, AML/CFT, consumer protection law, and licensing processes for payment institutions (KIP).
- Hands-on experience in conducting regulatory proceedings and submitting documentation to the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) and the General Inspector of Financial Information (GIIF).
- Ability to approach business and legal projects analytically and strategically.
- Excellent command of English and Polish, enabling effective collaboration with an international organization and handling global documentation.
- Preferred professional qualifications: legal advisor or attorney-at-law.
