We are currently looking for a Research Analyst with English + European and/or Turkish language skills. The position is based in our Gdynia office (secondary location Costa Rica). The job is hybrid with mandatory presence in the office at least 3 times a week.

Job summary
We are looking for a Research Analyst to research, write and analyse risk in deep-dive due diligence activities. The successful candidate should have experience or exposure to compliance or international business such as conducting improved due diligence and will be encouraged to have proven research and writing skills. This hardworking individual will add knowledge of the region market conditions as well as local language skills to the department and company which continues to grow on a global basis.
SOME OF THE DAILY TASKS:
- To conduct media and Internet searches on companies and individuals in English and in other European/Turkish Language.
- To investigate official sources (registrars, regulators, courts, etc.) for information on companies and individuals
- To cooperate with external vendors (verification of provided information, placing them in a report)
- To analyse the collected information with a view to reputational, financial and integrity risk (sanctions, corruption, bribery, money laundering, terrorism financing, regulatory violations, etc.),
- To prepare comprehensive reports in English and/or local language
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
- Proficiency in English (C1/C2 level according to the CEFR scale)
- Proficiency in any European or Turkish language
- University degree preferably in international relations, political science, legal studies or business management
- Excellent written and analytical skills including the ability to summarise sophisticated information clearly and concisely from another language into English
- Strong research skills, including online search tools
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Knowledge of, and interest in international affairs
