We are seeking an experienced and highly technical Lead DevOps Engineer to join our product development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure (AKS, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, serverless...) using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, Crossplane).
- Design and build platform features around Kubernetes with scalability, resilience, and security being top priorities.
- Develop and optimize our GitOps based IaC workflows (Flux CD + Crossplane preferred; Argo CD is also good).
- Own and evolve CI/CD processes in Azure DevOps, including automated testing and release.
- Implement robust monitoring and alerting—experience with Grafana, Loki, Tempo, and Mimir (LGTM) is a strong plus.
- Collaborate closely with the development teams to drive feature development and bug fixing.
- Share knowledge and expertise, review IaC code and designs, support your team as needed.
- Provide L3 support: triage complex incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive timely remediation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Azure experience, with deep expertise in networking and related infrastructure.
- Proven proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent).
- Experience with Azure DevOps (or equivalent such as GitHub Actions).
- Strong Kubernetes administration experience (large scale AKS deployments, Helm and/or Kustomize, k8s controllers).
- Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools (Flux CD preferred).
- Strong Linux and Bash scripting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; self-starter who can prioritize tasks and drive initiatives end to end independently.
- Open to participating in L3 on-call rotation (approximately one week per month).
Preferred Qualifications
- Python scripting for automation and tool integration.
- Familiarity with .NET Core/C#.
- Hands-on experience with Grafana LGTM stack.
