Description Overview
In support of our One Perrigo vision, our Audit function is enhancing our way of working to embrace technology and align with our new business model to become a modern Audit Business Partner.
We are seeking to hire an innovative, collaborative, customer focused, and forward-thinking Lead Internal Audit professional located in our newly established business services hub in Mokotow, Warsaw, Reporting to the Associate Director of Global Internal Audit, this is an exciting opportunity to positively impact the future of Perrigo Internal Audit.
Scope of the Role
- Lead audits including research, planning, execution and reporting for financial and operational audits.
- Prepare and deliver the audit reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Assist/support in the expansion and integration of the European Shared Service model.
- Assist in the preparation of risk assessment
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related field and possession of, or demonstrated progress toward, a Chartered Accountant (ACA) designation, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation is an advantage.
- Fluency in Polish and English languages required
- Demonstrated years of experience performing internal and/or financial audits.
- Experience working in a public company and/or public accounting firm is required.
- It is essential that you bring a working knowledge of financial and operational risks and controls with an understanding of internal auditing standards and techniques, including knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
- Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills and a basic understanding of financial statements is required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously as well as the ability to develop and maintain peer relationships.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) are required, as is knowledge of data analytics and electronic working papers.
- Must have the ability to travel both domestically and internationally approximately 15 – 20% of the time, dependent on business needs.
