Key Responsibilities:
- Define, confirm, and control the scope of all assigned IT initiatives and ensure clear communication with stakeholders throughout;
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders;
- Ensure project delivery follows the Pepco IT Delivery Framework, making sure all stakeholders understand IT;
- Motivate and lead project teams to achieve desired business outcomes and benefits;
- Foster a continuous improvement mindset within project teams to enhance efficiency;
- Proactively manage projects day-to-day, focusing on risks, issues, resource conflicts, scope, and timelines;
- Create and maintain detailed project plans covering all phases of the delivery lifecycle, from discovery to support;
- Organize and lead project meetings, including kick-offs, daily stand-ups, project reviews, and steering committees;
- Communicate critical project updates, including highlight reports, steering group reports, and budget updates;
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, including board-level executives, providing progress updates and addressing challenges;
- Collaborate with and manage third-party suppliers to ensure project deliverables, scope, and timelines are aligned with the Pepco IT Delivery Framework;
- Contribute to the evolution of the Pepco IT PMO function by sharing ideas and improving processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher;
- A minimum of 10 years of experience delivering technology-led projects (software, hardware, data, infrastructure) in retail or similarly sized organizations with international reach;
- Knowledge of end-to-end retail processes such as supply chain, finance, retail, and digital;
- Certifications such as Prince2 Foundation, APMG, or similar recognized project management methodologies;
- Experience working in fast-paced, unstructured, and ambiguous environments;
- Proficiency across the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC);
- Experience managing stakeholders from diverse business functions, including at senior levels;
- Experience producing essential project documentation such as Project Initiation Documents, RAID logs, project plans, service transition documents, and budget/resource management;
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and manage third-party vendors to deliver technology solutions;
- Experience of delivering IT projects in the Finance domain, and familiarity with the Finance function;
- Experience of delivering IT projects in retail, and an understanding of the retail operating model;
- Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to assess situations based on analysis and judgment;
- Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills;
- The ability to work in the Pepco Poznan office whenever required, including every week if needed;
- Fluent English is required.
