LK is on an ambitious journey to become the preferred allergy company globally. Traditionally, ALK has been a strongly marketing and process driven organization. With a rapidly changing healthcare environment, subsequently leading to increased dynamics within global marketing, there is a need to be more closely linked to the local customer needs and allergy markets. In order to do so, we are looking for a new colleague to join our Commercial Operations Poland.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Key Account Specialist develops, maintains and initiates collaborative relationships with current and future KOLs, Brand Advocates, cooperative groups and key external audiences
- Drives the development and execution of an innovative and successful brand plan; work with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and leveraging relationships with opinion leaders in the market
- Participates in the development of marketing materials
- Ensures effective implementation of marketing campaigns to external audiences
- Develops and implement local KOL Plans, with local brand team and in agreement with plans
- Implement and disseminate high quality medical and scientific educational programs. Give clinical and scientific presentations at sites/cooperative groups/hospital formularies
- Cooperates closely with Medical/Marketing Manager Poland
- Works to ensure prioritization of key customers
- Works with development field operations to ensure prioritization of site selection for ALK-sponsored studies
- Collates competitor information
Requirements:
- University degree
- Very good English skills
- Medical or scientific education (medical, pharma or natural sciences) or experience in similar position.
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience in industry
- Ability to work independently
- Specialistic care market experience preferred
- Ability to understand and communicate technical clinical materials clearly and effectively
- Ability to develop critical relationships with physicians, nurses and ancillary staff within academic hospitals, clinics, and private practice facilities
- Strong work ethic, ability to develop priorities and manage time appropriately, integrates innovative ideas, and works with all members of a team appropriately in order to accomplish corporate and individual objectives.
- Team player who behaves in compliance with ALK cultural beliefs
- Demonstrate belief and passion for the brand
- Convey ideas and plans clearly to ensure broad understanding
- Generate support for ideas and plans through persuasion and consensus
- Work with all relevant internal stakeholders to canvass opinion and request input to support the planning process
- Clear communication to all levels of the organization – create clarity for the brand and its positioning in the market
- Utilize innovative thinking to overcome barriers and hurdles faced in the field
- Track success and develop rapid corrective activities if needed
- High scientific profile with the ability to take on board new and complex clinical information
- Must be PC literate in Microsoft Office
- Should aim to spend approx. 75% of his/her time in the field, working with the external audiences
