Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our marketing team as a Junior Marketing Associate. The ideal candidate is passionate about marketing, possesses a solid understanding of marketing principles, and is eager to contribute to the success of our organisation. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and hands-on experience across multiple areas of marketing, with a key focus on supporting campaign execution, digital marketing, and targeted sales outreach.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Campaign Support:
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and traditional platforms. Coordinate assets and timelines to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and meet objectives.
Sales Outreach:
Support the sales team with outbound outreach activities, including identifying prospects and conducting follow-ups.
Assist in building and maintaining prospect lists using Salesforce. Collaborate with sales and marketing to align messaging and generate qualified leads through targeted outreach.
Track responses and engagement to help evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts.
Content Creation:
Contribute to the development of content for social media, email marketing, blog posts, and promotional materials.
Ensure brand voice and messaging are consistent across all channels.
Market Research:
Conduct research to gather insights on industry trends, customer behaviour, and competitors. Present findings to support campaign planning and business development efforts.
Social Media Management:
Help manage day-to-day activities across social media channels, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and suggesting new ideas to grow our following.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Use analytics tools to track marketing and outreach campaign performance. Prepare simple reports and suggest improvements based on key metrics.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with marketing, sales, design, and product teams to support aligned campaigns.
Maintain clear and timely communication across projects.
Skills Required:
- Basic understanding of marketing concepts and sales principles.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and email outreach platforms is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); knowledge of design or content tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) is a bonus.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, with a willingness to take initiative and learn.
- Comfortable reaching out to potential customers via email, telephone and LinkedIn.
- Adaptable and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
