Junior Fund Accountant - Reporting
Requirements:
University degree in Finance, Economics or similar; we are open for graduates or students with ability to work full time for Junior Position; previous internship or short corporate experience is nice to have
Understanding of bookkeeping principles and fund accounting
Great communication skills. Knowledge of English at minimum B2 level
Strong organizational with ability to work with deadlines
Strong analytical skills and attention to details
Accountability and client focused mindset
Proficient command of MS Office (proficient knowledge of Excel), knowledge of Bloomberg/Reuters
Responsibilities:
Preparing and reviewing monthly trustee / control packs for open ended funds
Investigating queries from internal and external parties, providing justification or backups supporting accounting records
Calculating and reviewing effective yields on bonds held in portfolio as well as fee accruals
Reconciling cash balances between Fund Accounting records and Custody in order to recognize, investigate and justify any discrepancies
Actively participating in cross-trainings, calls and meetings with the team and internal parties – for Specialist Position
