Position Overview:
PPG is seeking a skilled and motivated Junior IT Business Analyst to join AC EMEA Commercial Excellence Team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that IT projects align with organizational goals and deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for IT development teams.
- Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and impact assessments to support business process improvements.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between business units and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in user acceptance testing, training, and deployment to ensure successful solution implementation.
- Assist UX designer in mockup creation
- Create and maintain business documentation
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects, preferably within software development area.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and business analysis methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., UML, Azure DevOps, Mural, User Stories).
- Proficiency with UX design tools (e.g. Figma, Canva).
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
