About the role:
About the role:
As a Junior Accountant, you will assist the accounting team in all functional areas of accounting, including supporting local comptrollers in month-end close activities and entering supplier invoices. You will be required to respond to customer requests and provide a high level of customer service.
What are your responsibilities?
- Verification and posting of individual financial transactions
- Ensuring invoice compliance with tax/legal regulations and accounting standards
- Adherence to appropriate company policies and documented SOX procedures
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and local business units
- Communicating with internal partners from various countries to obtain required information/approvals
- Resolving discrepancies through collaboration with business partners and suppliers
- Regular work with reports
What makes you a good fit for this role?
- Secondary vocational or higher education (accounting, finance, economics) or other
- Knowledge of English (minimum B1 level)
- Ability to enter data and analyze financial documents
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and priorities resulting from business needs
- Accuracy in task execution and attention to detail
- Communication skills and ability to work in a team
