Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical IT PMO (Project Management Office) professional to join our dynamic team in Basel, Switzerland. As an IT PMO in Life Science, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating IT projects within our organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry regulations.
- Develop and maintain project management processes, methodologies, and best practices for IT initiatives in the life science sector
- Lead and coordinate multiple IT projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and status reports
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Manage resource allocation and budgeting for IT projects
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in IT project execution
- Analyze project data and generate reports to support decision-making processes
- Continuously improve project management practices and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in life science or pharmaceutical industry
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and IT project management software
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools, and IT infrastructure
- Proven track record of successful project delivery, risk management, and budgeting in complex IT environments
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in the life science industry (e.g., GxP, FDA regulations)
- Ability to travel occasionally and fluency in English required
