We are seeking a skilled and motivated Information Security Risk Specialist to join our Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. In this role, you will lead and support the organization’s cybersecurity risk management efforts, ensuring that information security risks are effectively identified, assessed, documented, and communicated across the enterprise.
You will be responsible for working with stakeholders across IT, business units, and leadership to evaluate risk, prioritize remediation efforts, and support strategic decision-making through clear and actionable risk reporting. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence how cybersecurity risk is understood and managed at all levels of the organization.
THE CHALLENGE:
- This is a highly visible role requiring a blend of technical understanding, business acumen, and communication skills.
- Driving enterprise-wide cyber security risk assessments and presenting findings to senior leadership.
- Bridging the gap between technical risk data and business impact analysis.
- Enhancing and maintaining risk registers, metrics, and reporting mechanisms.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management into business processes.
- Supporting compliance, audit, and third-party risk efforts in a unified risk framework.
ABOUT YOU:
- At least 2 years in cybersecurity risk management.
- Strong knowledge of risk management practices, frameworks, and methodologies (e.g., NIST RMF, ISO 27005, FAIR).
- Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments and supporting remediation efforts.
- Proven ability to communicate risk-related topics to both technical and executive audiences
- Experience with GRC tools such as AuditBoard, ServiceNow, OneTrust, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with security standards and control frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
