About the role
As our Head of E-Commerce, you will:
- Set the market vision for E-Commerce sales and experiences, driving strategic direction and execution across existing and new channels.
- Define and implement long-term strategies to build sustainable e-commerce businesses, aligning with local market dynamics and Dyson Group principles.
- Drive performance of E-Commerce channels, including Direct-to-consumer and Indirect channels, taking accountability for the P&L.
- Ensure operational excellence in site development, order fulfilment, and system implementations to support sales growth and business opportunities.
- Contribute to aggressive growth strategies for direct business, implementing global strategies and leading execution across customer touchpoints.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent delivery of e-commerce strategies by various customer-facing functions.
- Build and develop high-performing teams, providing leadership, motivation, and capability development to drive long-term growth.
- Manage business and P&L, working with partners across the organization to achieve targets and identify opportunities for growth.
- Oversee business planning processes, including forecasting, budget planning, and monthly estimates, to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in e-commerce operations, leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices.
About you
To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:
- More than eight years’ extensive experience in E-Commerce or Sales, preferably in premium branded products/retail, demonstrating a strong passion for E-Commerce and relevant market knowledge.
- Proactivity, with a demonstrated ability to quickly adapt into a new organization, and high energy level.
- Hands-on mentality, coupled with a dynamic and collaborative personality, thriving in fast-paced and continuously changing environments.
- Creative and entrepreneurial mindset, viewing ambiguity as opportunity, and always driven by a desire to win and for continuous improvement.
- Strong team player and leader, approachable and supportive, with a commitment to nurturing talent and developing others.
- Fluent English.
- Exceptional change driver and influencer, able to rally organizations across functions and levels to drive transformative change, with a commercial orientation that identifies and capitalizes on revenue and profit opportunities.
- Strategic thinker who can balance long-term vision with short-term deliverables, comfortable navigating complexity and change in matrixed structures, and capable of synthesizing market insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong communicator, able to articulate technical issues in simple laymen’s terms, with a keen eye for detail particularly within a digital setting.
- Data-led mindset, utilizing data to enable business decisions and drive actionable insights, and leading the development of a data-first approach within the team and wider business.
