We are seeking a motivated and quality-driven Group Supplier Quality Engineer to elevate supplier performance across our international network. Manage global supplier audits and enhance quality development
As Group Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing supplier quality development and leading global audit programs. You will ensure that supplier materials meet NKT’s technical, safety, and environmental standards while ensuring long-term supplier reliability. Your work will directly contribute to our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality solutions to customers worldwide.
Your responsibility will be to:
- Manage CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes, ensuring sustainable resolutions
- Execute global supplier audits (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and follow up on findings
- Reduce COPQ (Supplier Cost of Poor Quality) and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
- Support development of high-risk suppliers and standardize best practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align quality strategies and goals
You will report to the Group Supplier Quality Manager and be part of a global team. The role includes international travel up to 70% and is based in Poland or The Czech Republic. We offer the flexibility to work fully remotely from home or in a hybrid model, depending on your preference and location.
Supplier Quality Engineer with extensive experience in global audits
You are a forward-thinking individual who thrives in an international environment. You enjoy working across functions and cultures, and you bring a structured, methodological approach to problem-solving. You are motivated by continuous improvement and committed to building solid supplier relationships that enhance performance and reliability. You will be part of a team where a flexible mindset and willingness to support colleagues beyond your own responsibilities are key.
You also have:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, experience within manufacturing or energy sectors is beneficial
- Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001
- Proficiency in CAPA, 8D, FMEA, 5Whys, supplier development
- Experience managing cross functional project teams
- Experience using digital and analytical tool, such as QlikSense
- Fluency in English
