Your future team:
Group Investment Controlling is a part of Group Finance and consists of four team members – three based in Poznań and one in the UK.
The team plays a key role in providing meaningful and relevant insights to support CAPEX planning, evaluation, forecasting, and strategic decision-making, while ensuring proper investment governance across the Group.
What you will be doing:
- Contributing to the development and implementation of Group policies regarding investment procedures, including governance structure, cost and benefit categorization, business plan assumptions, benefits follow-up, and timelines
- Coordinating, consolidating, and analyzing mid-term and long-term CAPEX forecasts, including strategic decision impacts
- Providing advice and business partnering to Technical Directors, Factory Managers, Global Technical Key Account Managers, and other stakeholders on investment requests and business planning
- Evaluating investment requests for the annual investment portfolio
- Delivering value-added insights on Group investments to the Board of Directors and Group Management, including sustainability strategy impact
- Ensuring accurate and timely CAPEX ESG/taxonomy reporting and documentation
- Performing ad-hoc analysis as requested by the business
- Supporting process standardization across the team and local entities to ensure high data quality
- Offering guidance and professional opinions to stakeholders, promoting alignment with Group goals
- Participating in the continuous development of professional qualifications
- Ensuring compliance with all internal policies, health & safety, and fire protection regulations
- Performing tasks assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the position
What you bring:
- A master’s degree in economics, Finance Management, or Management Accounting
- Experience in communication with senior stakeholders
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Understanding of relevant IFRSs and management accounting principles
- Practical knowledge of investment appraisal methods
- Strong understanding of business models and their impact on investment decisions
- Advanced analytical thinking and a helicopter view approach
- Good knowledge of Excel and other relevant systems A proactive mindset with a drive for automation and standardisation
