THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our GBS Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in driving performance, enabling strategic decision-making, and delivering impactful insights. This is more than just a numbers role — you’ll be at the heart of planning, budgeting, and forecasting, challenging the business to align its ambitions with financial goals. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Leads the planning and budgeting cycle, providing challenge and insights, setting top-down targets, and issuing localized calendars and guidelines; manages resolution of related queries and supports corporate functions in owning and understanding their assumptions.
- Acts as the key contact for Corporate FP&A teams, handling ad hoc analysis, coordinating reporting requests from the GBS Director, and delivering internal presentations and briefing packs.
- Oversees governance of efficiency projects, ensuring impact is qualified and delivered, while assessing financial implications of emerging opportunities and risks at the GBS level.
- Manages major financial tools such as Anaplan and MicroStrategy, offering guidance and ensuring effective usage across the organization.
- Drives continuous improvement, harmonizing processes, reducing cost to serve, and supporting the development of a best-in-class GBS organization as a trusted partner to the GBS Director.
- Builds strong partnerships with markets, clusters, and central teams, identifying performance drivers, risks, and opportunities, and connecting process towers, third-party providers, and centres of competence for seamless delivery.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, MBA) or equivalent,
- Significant proven experience in finance business partnering/FP&A.
- Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organisation. Preferably in the FMCG/Tobacco industry.
- Ability to present data and findings in a clear and concise way.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and consistently delivering high quality work.
