Hybrid/Remote Working
requirements
2+ years of experience in a similar game design role, supported by a strong portfolio of projects or shipped titles
Educational background in game design or a related field is a plus
Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets
Working knowledge of game engines (Unity) and scripting (C#) is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of SQL for query and data analysis is also an assets
Good command of English (spoken and written)
responsibilities
Collaborating with the team to create, develop, and iterate game concepts and mechanics
Independently designing, implementing, and balancing gameplay features
Designing, implementing, and balancing game economy considering player progression and engagement
Leading brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas, and encouraging creative input
Researching and applying industry trends in game design
Testing and iterating game designs based on player feedback and data
Documenting design decisions and game mechanics for internal and external use
Conducting data analysis and interpretation to make design decisions
Mentoring junior game designers and providing constructive feedback
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., art, programming) to ensure consistency in game design
Analyzing and interpreting A/B test results to inform design decisions
Monitoring game metrics to measure and understand player behavior and using this data to refine game designs
Applying best practices in UI/UX design to improve player experience
Developing and implementing effective game monetization strategies
