Functional Tester

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Industry: fintech
• Location: hybrid (visit the Warsaw office 2/month)
• Remuneration: up to 120 PLN/h
• Project language: Polish & English
• Start: ASAP
• Project duration: longterm

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and collaborate with business analysts and the product owner.
• Identify test cases from software requirements and/or use cases.
• Create and execute manual test cases to ensure compliance with specifications and documentation.
• Conduct functional and end-to-end (E2E) test scripts dry runs, peer reviews, and execution.
• Identify, report, and manage defects.
• Perform backend and frontend testing, including APIs, databases, and Salesforce.
• Support the team in executing automated tests and making necessary updates.

Key Requirements:

• Strong backend testing skills: SOAP, REST API, SQL.
• Being proficient in Functional, E2E and UAT testing and test processes as a part of SDLC and STLC.
• Over 4 years of experience working as a Software Tester.
• Knowledge of different testing phases and types: Integration, UAT, E2E, functional.
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred).
• Ability to communicate in both Polish and English on a day-to-day basis in speaking and writing.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Being a team player but also able to work independently using your initiative.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in finance or banking.
• Background in automation testing.
• General knowledge of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Familiarity with Robot Framework.
• ISTQB Certification.
• Experience in Salesforce testing.
