Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Middle DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient DevOps infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and performance of our systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
Cloud Infrastructure:
- Proficient in AWS
- Experience with Terraform and Terragrunt
Configuration Management and Automation:
- Hands-on experience with Puppet.
CI/CD and Version Control:
- Proficient in Jenkins with a strong understanding of Jenkins pipelines
- Strong knowledge of Git
Scripting and Programming:
- Proficient in Shell scripting
Operating Systems:
- Deep understanding of the Linux stack
Monitoring and Performance Management:
- Experience with Grafana
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with CloudFormation
- Familiarity with Packer
- Experience with Python
- Familiarity with Prometheus
- Knowledge of managing Postgres/MySQL as a server administrator
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS, Terraform, and Terragrunt.
- Implement automation and configuration management using Puppet.
CI/CD Pipelines:
- Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate CI/CD best practices into the workflow.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Set up and manage monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus to ensure system reliability.
- Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues to minimize downtime.
Scripting and Automation:
- Create scripts in Shell and Python to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Manage and optimize build and deployment processes.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration between systems.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
