Devops Engineer

We are looking for you, if you have:

• perience with an Ops or DevOps role within IT,
e
• perience with databases administration (e.g. MS SQL, Sybase) and data structures,
e
• perience with performing IT Ops activities for multiple applications,
e
• perience in supporting vendor-built applications,
e
• perience in developing automation scripts,
working knowledge of operating systems (Linu
• and Windows), scheduling and system monitoring,
• ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers,
• strong communication skills in English and ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.

• good knowledge of Financial Markets and supporting platforms,
• CI/CD knowledge,

• perience with Ivanti Workspace Control Console,
e
• perience with services IBM MQ, File transfer,
• the knowledge about TLS/SSL and certificate management.

Your responsibilities:

• dealing with incidents and requests raised by end users, performing incident and problem management according to ING’s policies,
• contributing to multiple life cycle management tasks of our applications, e.g. patching our servers from development through to production environments, major upgrades and vulnerability management,
• contributing to change management responsibilities for projects, upgrades and small enhancements for the applications,
• performing the annual disaster recovery, security, and BCP testing – completing intakes, coordinating team and sign off,
• assisting with functional specifications for change requests towards vendors and testing release stories,
• working with Asset Owner, IT Custodian and their advisors to ensure projects are completed in timely manner when new initiatives are introduced.

• we work in an Agile/Scrum way, following the backlog prioritized by a Product Owner. We demonstrate the results of our work to other colleagues and the stakeholders, working alongside DevOps colleagues in the UK and risk and platform colleagues in Romania and Poland respectively,

• ternal applications like Global1, Socrates and Pirum
• we onboard new collateral management services and a new Global Securities Finance trading application.
• we work with other ING and vendor applications to define and implement new data interfaces,
we make a consolidation of e
• isting Global1 Securities Finance applications within one squad.
