We are looking for the Data Scientist to:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage data analytics and machine learning to support Wealth Management business,
- Analyse and explain financial data from various sources to provide actionable insights for Financial Advisors and their Clients,
- Build and deploy machine learning and statistical methods to optimize the business process and help with targeted marketing and sales efforts for financial products,
- Leverage LLM models to bring business and data science even closer together,
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy,
- Produce relevant documentation related to model performance, model review and model governance,
- Independently manage projects,
- Work 10:00 am - 6:00 pm CET.

Your team
You will be part of the Data Science team in Smart Technologies and Advanced Analytics Team (STAAT), WMA in our Krakow location, Fabryczna Office Park. We are open to hybrid work schedule. Our Data Science team is at the heart of STAAT’s function to manage and support data science efforts across different business areas. Our team is global based in US, Poland, and China. At the heart of this project is the ability to systematically analyze and build statistical and machine learning models with a goal for the Wealth Management business to make optimal decisions.

Your expertise
- Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related STEM field,
- 3+ years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates with finance industry experience,
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLM) and machine learning techniques such as classification, clustering, optimization, Random Forest, PCA, XGBoost, and natural language processing,
- Strong understanding of mathematical underpinnings and their real-world applications and limitations,
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, R, SQL, etc.) for data manipulation, model development, and insights derivation,
- Familiarity with industry-standard database and analytical technologies (Greenplum, Dataiku, Hadoop, etc.),
- Experience deploying analytical models to solve business problems,
- Ability to design experimental and analytical plans for data modeling processes and A/B testing,
- Availability to work 10:00 am – 6:00 pm CET.
