What you'll be doing
We are seeking a Customer Support Specialist who is fluent in German to join our team and support one of our valued clients—an established and fast-growing company in the pet care industry. Known for their premium-quality products designed specifically for dogs, this company is committed to enhancing the comfort, health, and happiness of pets and their owners.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for their customers, assisting them with inquiries, resolving issues, and offering friendly, knowledgeable support. You'll also help promote their product range by guiding customers toward the best solutions for their needs. How you'll spend your day
- Engage with customers in sales conversations, guiding them through our product portfolio to find the right fit.
- Provide advisory services to ensure customers understand product benefits and features.
- Communicate order status updates, delivery timelines, and general information.
- Handle customer claims and facilitate returns with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain a patient and charming demeanour, even when working with demanding customers.
You'll be successful if you have
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken German and good English skills.
- Strong communication skills, particularly for handling customer and sales-related conversations.
- Ability to provide product guidance and advice across a broad product portfolio.
- Experience managing order status updates and/or responding to related inquiries.
- Skilled in claims processing and return handling, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience in order management and customer service roles.
- Patient, composed, and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with digital tools and quick to adapt to new systems and workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities when handling customer issues.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with JTL or other light ERP systems.
- Experience working with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
