We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cloud Engineering Team Lead to guide a cross-functional team in building and delivering high-quality cloud-native solutions.
This leader will be instrumental in driving infrastructure automation, fostering innovation, and optimizing developer experiences through collaboration, technical expertise, and agile leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain highly scalable cloud-native solutions
- Define and drive the implementation of cloud architecture with a focus on performance, reliability, and security
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and define a comprehensive product backlog
- Develop best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and promote its adoption across the team
- Oversee the use of tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Docker to streamline CI/CD pipelines
- Leverage cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure to design solutions that align with business objectives
- Optimize the deployment process through the integration of Terraform and other relevant technologies
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team
- Foster effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing across the team, ensuring technical alignment and skill development
- Review code, support troubleshooting efforts, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines and scope
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or similar roles
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Terraform, and Azure DevOps
- Practical experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration capabilities
- Strong familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines
- Broad understanding of cloud-native architecture and internal developer platforms
- Skills in back-end development using Python and integration of IaC principles
- Competency in Agile methodologies paired with knowledge of testing strategies like TDD
- Demonstrated ability to align team goals with organizational objectives and execute effectively
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and Azure Kubernetes Service
- Experience with modern tools such as Argo CD for application delivery
- Capability to guide teams in adopting and managing Kubernetes-based solutions
