We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Business Requirements Engineer to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role is essential for translating complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and driving the development of impactful digital solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and a passion for delivering customer value through data-driven decisions and excellent documentation.
- Business Requirement Translation: Analyze and understand business needs, translating them into clear, concise, and technically feasible feature descriptions, including business outcomes and non-functional requirements (NFRs).
- Agile Collaboration: Work in close alignment with Scrum teams and operate effectively within the SAFe framework to ensure agile delivery practices are adhered to.
- Solution Design Support: Collaborate with architects to define solution designs that align with enterprise architecture and business goals.
- User Story Leadership: Lead the refinement process and guide the team in defining and writing user stories with clear definitions of ready, done, and acceptance criteria.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring mutual understanding and efficient communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Requirement Challenge & Validation: Partner with Product Managers to critically evaluate business requirements, challenge assumptions, and ensure alignment with overall strategy.
- Value Orientation: Apply a data-driven mindset to ensure developments support measurable business value for both internal and external customers.
- Documentation & Traceability: Ensure requirements are well-documented, traceable, and updated throughout the lifecycle of a feature or product increment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, or similar roles in agile software delivery environments
- Deep understanding of Scrum and SAFe methodologies
- Experience writing user stories, features, and NFRs
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to think critically and analytically, with a high attention to detail
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus

- Experience in API-driven environments or platforms
- Knowledge of API design and lifecycle concepts
