About the Team
Our Technical Consulting team is part of Workday’s Global Technical Services organization dedicated to the implementation of our cloud-based software. We make an impact by helping customers make the most of the Workday platform!We work closely with the client’s project team to design, develop and deploy a customer’s various technical requirements. These requirements include migration of data from existing customer systems to Workday. We work in a diverse, fast paced environment and optimally collaborate across teams (i.e. developers, technical operations and customers). About the Role
Within Workday, a Technical Data Conversion Consultant has knowledge of core design principles, common data modeling and patterns, project implementation methodology and a successful track record of delivering.
The ability to prioritize multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously will be key for success in the role, along with passion for customer service
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of experience with technical consulting, requirements gathering, or solution design
2+ years of experience with data migration
2+ years of experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel
Proficient in English and German or French language
Other Qualifications
Proficient understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle - including data requirements capturing, dataset migration, data reconciliation, and move to production
Proficient with mapping and loading data from source to target software systems
Proficient skills with ETL, SQL/MySQL, XML, Microsoft Excel, stored procedures or other data tooling
Previous consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company
Understanding of data modeling concepts with an ability to manipulate data using software tools and SQL

We look for team members who will suggest creative and new ways to develop and deliver technical solutions. This role will be a great fit for an innovative self-starter who can drive ideas from concept through implementation.
You should excel at explaining complex concepts in simple terms and understanding customer procedures and are curious about how things work and love solving puzzles.
